October 1st - December 31st

FOR CURRENT MEMBERS: Any member who writes a journal promoting the group or refers new members to the group will receive a 10 MERITS and an art request from purpleEar Applicants are encouraged to note the group the person who refereed them to the group so that they may also receive 10 MERITS for joining.

How To Join

BEFORE your create your OC, Read our "Rules and FAQ"
FOR STUDENTS: Complete a Student Application form in uniform
FOR TEACHERS: Complete a Teacher Application form
[Optional] Once you complete your Student Application you can send a note to the group and ask for an app check.
Submit your application to the New Students Folder in the gallery.

** We have a written application form for those who are better suited with writing or do not have the time to complete the drawn portion.

The application process:

App reviews take place every two weeks starting on April 15th
The Student Council [ purpleEar vicfania8855 ComicsBraze LostMercury ] will look each app one by one and grade on a scale of 0-100.
Once all applications have been reviewed the scores will be averaged out.
Any scores above 80 points will be accepted.
Any scores below 50 will be rejected.
Those that fall in the range of 50-80 will be granted a second try to apply during the following month.
The written application form is marked the same as the regular application, however the points going towards a full-body image will be put towards the character description.

What Happens After You Join:

Every two weeks invitations will be sent out to join the group. An invitation means you are officially accepted into the group.
You will be assigned a dorm and roommates to share you brand new life at Brookview.
You may sign-up for Sports and Clubs. [These are completely optional.]
You may also join any current School Events. [This is not mandatory, but it will show us that you will be an active member in the group]
Once it's December you may sign up for Classes for the next semester. [Mandatory]

All applications gain points on the following categories:

Full Body [5 points]

Those that have a full body of their characters in uniform on their app automatically are granted 5 points. Link to Uniform

History [25]

Tell us about your character. What was their past like? How did they end up to Brookview? Since there is no age cap to a student anyone at any age can apply to the school however please keep in mind that for students that are over the age of graduation there will be questions. Why is a 350 year old wizard attending a school aimed at educating teenagers?

Special Abilities [20]

Tell us about your character's abilities. From supernatural powers to the ability to juggle numbers in your head, they all count as abilities. Please try to be specific about your character's powers. Go more in-depth than "Can use the power of sound" Perhaps they can use sound waves to travel, or use sound waves to sense objects far away. Certain abilities require limits. For example, you can levitate objects with your mind, but there's a big difference between levitating a small pot and a big truck. A maximum of three abilities per character.

Creativity/Effort [50]

How unique is this character? Have we seen this type of character a million times before or are they unique and clearly are their own person? Does their history match up with their personality? Are they well-balanced with their abilities?
